Two A Company recently concluded a successful and engaging participation in the Maldives Construction & Engineering Expo 2025, held at the Dharubaaruge convention center in Malé. As a leading name in the Maldivian construction industry, our presence at this premier event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry partners, showcase our latest technological advancements, and engage with the next generation of engineers and project managers. Our booth was a hub of activity throughout the three-day expo, attracting a steady stream of visitors including government officials, private developers, and students. A key highlight was our interactive presentation on sustainable dredging techniques, where our senior engineers detailed the advanced environmental monitoring and mitigation strategies we employ in our land reclamation projects. We demonstrated how our cutter suction dredger, the “Jarraafa,” utilizes cutting-edge GPS technology to minimize its ecological footprint, a topic of great interest to attendees. Another major draw was the virtual reality simulation of our coastal protection projects. Visitors could experience firsthand the scale and complexity of constructing rock boulder revetments and breakwaters, gaining a deeper appreciation for the engineering expertise required to protect our vulnerable islands. We were also proud to host a panel discussion on “The Future of Infrastructure in the Atolls,” featuring our Managing Director alongside key figures from the Ministry of Planning and the private sector. The discussion provided valuable insights into upcoming development trends and the role of local companies in shaping the nation’s future. The expo was an invaluable platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration. We were delighted by the overwhelming positive feedback and the numerous inquiries about potential partnerships and projects. Two A Company extends its sincere thanks to the organizers and all who visited our booth. We look forward to building on the connections made and continuing to lead the way in engineering a better future for the Maldives.
